Print Work

Image
This is an array of printmaking work I did this past semester.  But  I am missing quite a few actually.  So I will look for those and post those as well.   The theme was a bit of "storytelling" with characters I created/recreated.  For print, I chose a devil and a zombie.  Devil is Ignito, and the Zombie is Rose. The abstract pieces were a mix between monoprints, monotypes, and lithographs.  The more constructed ones are copper plate etchings.

Nudes

If you can't handle looking at nude drawings, well, don't scroll down.  This was all we did for Drawing III and IV: draw models.  I had the time of my life doing it too!  But I know not everyone can handle it, and some don't enjoy looking at them.  I hope if you do though,  that you can find some beauty in these.  They are all wonderful models and I am glad I had the chance to draw them.

Lots of Art

Image
For those of you who missed the Art Street exhibit.  Here's what was up! It held the work of six seniors: Rebecca Roman, Sean Montgomery, Luke Effler, Brandon Lowery, Erin Gottron, and myself. :)   The last picture is of my installation I had to do for print class.  I went off of Super Smash Bros. "theme."  Worked out alright I guess.  Could have done more, but eh, last week of senior year.  More pictures will be coming your way!

Soaring and Flying

In life, gonna be times when you're feeling low. and in your mind insecurity seem to take control. We start to look outside ourselves for acceptance and approval. We keep forgetting that one thing we should know is don't be afraid to fly alone. Find a path that is your own. Love will open every door, it's in your hands the world is yours.  Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold. What are you waiting for? Spread your wings and soar.       ~Christina Aguilera SOAR
