The pictures aren't the best quality, but you can definitely see the changes over time.

Some examples (some have already been posted), of direct artwork I have done that have a foundation of inspiration from the people I saw everyday for 1-4 years of my life while I was at school.

Art Off at K12 2012.  First theme-Transformation Second theme: Time, Memory, Place The goal/rules of this competition are described by the art version of "Iron Chef."  Easles and materials were set up for artists to come and use.  Artists could also bring any materials/references needed for their piece.  We had 50 minutes to create one piece using the materials given and it had to fit the theme given.  Here are my two results.

"A little, lonely tree stands in the vast Central Mall, and the students embrace it.  Not literally-you won't find them hugging this twig.  But when we asked our readers to help us choose a cover for the autumn issue, current and recent students often chose the sapling, to illustrate 'deep roots.' ...A magazine cover may be just a photo, a dorm just a building.  But UD is never just a school, something to which we can all agree no matter how deep our roots."  Michelle Tedford

Sketchbooks don't get nearly enough attention as they deserve.  So if I keep up on actually drawing in all of my sketchbooks, I will try to keep updating with pictures.  Right now, my sketchbooks serve as visual diaries and song "interpretations."  So basically I listen to a song once or twice and draw what I feel/hear from the song.  It's really calming and freeing actually.  And who knows if any cool final renditions will come from any of my sketches here.
